I am a proactive, hard working web designer with a varied portfolio utilising many different design aspects of the web. I have experience with Content Management Systems as well as self developed sites and designs. I have great communication skills and am very conscientious. I enjoy working in teams as well as developing further skills in individual environments.

My skills include all current web languages. I have a full comprehensive knowledge of HTML and CSS. I am also very competent in PHP and the use of SQL within a web environment. I also have good experience in image manipulation and logo design.

I am experienced in most of the Adobe suite. I have used Dreamweaver and Fireworks at an advanced level as well as using Photoshop and Flash and a more basic level. I also have a fully comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

I am a good communicator; I enjoy the challenge of working alone and in teams.

Dunstable College ILT Intern 2006 - 2008

I was in a team of two that work on the Virtual Learning Environment for the College. We offered support to staff and students using the system as well as looking into future usage of the system. I had the responsibility of running staff development as well as designing new templates for the site using CSS.

Advantec Internet Services/David Andrews Internet Services Web Designer 2009 - Current

I am part of a strong web development team that deals with many different aspects of web design and development, from simple updates to complicated e-commerce work.

personal details

I enjoy football, drumming and socialising. I also try to devote some time every week to the development of new technologies in the web environment, I have my own web space and this allows me to experiment thoroughly.
